The Atterbury Theatre is optimally ‘tuned’ in terms of the exceptional functioning of sound systems employed in modern shows and conferences.
The theatre has an ideal location in Lynnwood Manor, right next to the N1 highway in the east of Pretoria. It forms part of the prestigious Lynnwood Bridge Retail Centre that offers an experience like no other. The theatre was developed by Atterbury Property Group as part of this exclusive retail space with a mix of trendy restaurants, speciality stores and the City Lodge Lynnwood – which contributes to its ideal location for out-of-town conference delegates.
What distinguishes the 400-seater auditorium-style theatre from any other similar sized conference venue, is the technical equipment which has been installed in the theatre. Standard equipment includes a line array speaker system, programmable lighting control, data projector, screen, digital sound control and processing, CD/ DVD/BLU-RAY/HDD systems, SDI cable network for HD video cameras and facilities for an outside broadcast unit (OB-van) to patch into the theatre’s network. Technical on-site support is included in the various conference packages. The venue also has a back-up generator that can handle the entire theatre’s power needs, including theatre lighting and air-conditioning.
The theatre complex includes an on-site production and sound studio that can be utilized for the recording of shows, conferences, CDs, DVDs and voice-overs. With access to a large database of South Africa’s top artists and musicians, the studio team can assist with tailor-produced industrial musical theatre productions to create X-factor conference experiences.
The Atterbury Theatre is managed by an experienced professional team with expertise in all the required conference and audiovisual disciplines.
The following restaurants form part of the Lynnwood Bridge Retail Centre and offer conference delegates a wide variety of options: Stephnie’s, TriBeCa, Koi, The Famous Fishoek Co., Vovo Telo, Col’Cacchio Pizzeria, Café Beyritz and Rhapsody’s.
