Moscow Theatre – Crown of the Russian Ballet was founded in 1997.
It is headed by artistic director Anna Alexide, and chief choreographer and principal dancer – Anatoly Emelianov, who for many years was the principal dancer of the US Metropolitan Classical Ballet. CROWN OF THE RUSSIAN BALLET was founded in 1997 as the choreography of the day demanded new repertoire. The company consists of graduates of the best Russian choreography schools, CROWN OF THE RUSSIAN BALLET has toured successfully around the globe: Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, France, Austria, Sweden, the USA, Great Britian, Canada, Germany, Finland, India, Switzerland, Austria. China, Israel, Japan, Mexico, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. Artistic Director Anatoly Emelianov has prepared a special programme for South Africa.
