Award-winning cabaret artist, Helena Hettema, is once more at the Atterbury Theatre, performing songs from her latest two CD’s “Piaf 100-year Tribute” and “The Great French Legends”. She pays tribute to the “The Little Sparrow”Edith Piaf as well as artists such as Jacques Brel, Charles Aznavour and Gilbret Becaud. She will be accompanied by the maestro of accordion Sergio Zampoli and Marelize Kock on piano with a touch of classical ballet by Suranel van den Berg. Guest artist: Eugene Vermaak.
Helena is the recipient of an SABC Geraas Award for Best Female Vocalist and Laureate Award from the University of Pretoria, her alma mater. She was nominated twice for a SAMA (SA Music Award).
